Struggling Japanese retailer Seiyu, an affiliate of US retail titan Wal-Mart, has reported a first-half net loss and confirmed its forecast of fourth consecutive full-year loss.

TOKYO, Aug 18 (Reuters) – Seiyu Ltd. , a Japanese affiliate of Wal-Mart Stores Inc. , posted a half-year net loss on Thursday due to weak sales and reiterated its projection of a fourth straight full year in the red.
