BASKETBALL ASSOCIATION of the Philippines (BAP) president Joey Lina denied any standing obligation with FIBA, which continues to acknowledge BAP s full privilege as a recognized affiliate following a receipt of confirmation from FIBA secretary general Patrick Baumann.

Ajax affiliate interested in MLS team (USA Today)
Ajax America, the North American affiliate of the storied Dutch soccer club, announced Wednesday its interest in buying a share of a Major League Soccer franchise. The Orlando-based company said that it is pursuing the San Jose Earthquakes and the Kansas City Wizards.
