WPRI/WNAC-TV Historical Profile (WPRI 12 Providence)
WPRI-TV started as a CBS affiliate on March 27th, 1955 as WPRO-TV. It was first owned and operated by retailer Cherry & Webb, who also owned WPRO-AM/FM radio.

Brambles sells Cleanaway, AIS (Sydney Morning Herald)
Support services group Brambles Industries Ltd has sold its Australian and New Zealand waste management business Cleanaway, and its Australian Industrial Services division, to an affiliate of US private equity firm Kohlberg Kravis Roberts & Co for $1.8275 billion in cash.
