Smithsonian Institute gives prestigious title to Lexington horse museum (USA Today)
A Kentucky horse museum has been recognized as an affiliate of the Smithsonian Institute, meaning some of its exhibits could travel to Lexington. The International Museum of the Horse at the Kentucky Horse Park was approved for a partnership with the Smithsonian earlier this month.
