Late flurry stuns Everblades (The News-Press)
The Stanley Cup was in the building. The Florida Everblades wore the red and white jerseys of their NHL affiliate, the Carolina Hurricanes. Carolina owner Thomas Thewes paraded the Stanley Cup around the ice during the first period intermission.
