BAMAKO, Dec 26, 2007 (AFP) – Mali is hunting the suspected killers of four French tourists in neighbouring Mauritania amid speculation that they might be linked to Al-Qaeda's North African affiliate, an official said Wednesday.

Uganda: Bujagali Closes Financing of $628m Debt Facility (AllAfrica.com)
Bujagali Energy Ltd, the special purpose company co-owned by the Industrial Promotion Services (K) Ltd, the government of Uganda and Sithe Global Power – an affiliate of the Blackstone Group – has closed financing of a $682 million debt facility for the 250-Megawatt Bujagali hydroelectric station located on the River Nile.
