St. Louis Cardinals in discussions to purchase Triple-A affiliate (OurSports Central)
Memphis, Tenn. – The St. Louis Cardinals, the Memphis Redbirds Baseball Foundation and Blues City Baseball announced Tuesday that they have signed a non-binding letter of intent to pursue a transaction by which the Cardinals would purchase the Memphis Redbirds franchise, its Triple-A affiliate, from the Memphis Redbirds Baseball Foundation.
